Our licensed daycare facilities has always met or exceeded all health and safety guidelines. Our warm and loving staff are certified in CPR & First Aid and attend yearly classes and trainings by the Department of Health.
Welcome to learn n play where learning and playing are One. We have provided quality childcare in the Inwood/Riverdale community for 20years. We are proud to say we are an art based childcare center where children can freely express themselves through creativity and play. We offer full and part time care for working families or moms that need a few hours of some free time to get back into the workplace. We offer morning socialization for the little guys ages 1yr and above with early pick up for those who are able. Our Fall Little Leaves..
Due to Covid 19, we are offering virtual tours, in person tours can be arranged according to state guidelines. Pick up and Drop off are done in front of the facility. Daily health checks and temperatures are taken everyday. Disinfecting high contact surfaces, washing our little ones hands constantly, wearing masks, maintaining space and keeping our families and staff safe and healthy is our priority. No visitors, or any adults outside of our group are permitted inside our facility. Please email or give us a call to find out how to do a virtual tour with us!
Learn n Play also provides breakfast, lunch and snacks. We are certified and monitored by the NYS food program. All meals are prepared fresh on premises. Meals include fruit, vegetables, dairy, protein, and whole grains.
We also serve Kosher meals and snacks. All staff are educated on how to prepare and serve these foods. Menus are posted daily to inform our parents of meals served each day.
Learn n Play does not have televisions at our facilities. Our children are constantly stimulated by our staff through activities, games, creative art, and their friends at L&P. We believe in the importance of maintaining our classroom environment.
Children participate in developmentally-appropriate activities throughout the day, such as:
- Daily Circle time
- Curriculum based activities
- Introduction to Alphabet, Numbers, Colors and Shapes
- Puzzles & Games
- Friendship building
- Daily outdoor play in our Spacious Back Yard!
